Shortly after AASBCR® was incorporated it was recognized
that working with other retiree groups in a coalition would result in
a stronger voice for all retirees when interacting with AT&T. As a
result, the retiree groups listed below joined with AASBCR®
in an informal coalition. The coalition has often spoken with one
voice when approaching AT&T on issues common to all our retiree
groups. The following links to the other coalition member

AARP [American Association of Retired
Persons]
AARP’s mission is to inform members and the public on issues important to
this age group, advocating on legislative, consumer and legal issues,
promote community service and offer a wide range of special products and

National Retiree Legislative Network (NRLN): www.nrln.org The
National Retiree Legislative Network (NRLN) is a non-partisan, grassroots
coalition of retiree associations, individual retirees and pre-retirees
devoted to enacting federal legislation to protect pension plans and
retirement healthcare benefits. With
support from its more than 2 million members and Washington, DC-based
staff, the NRLN identifies and rallies support for Federal legislation
will guarantee fair and equitable treatment of retirees from the private
