UNITED HEALTH COVERAGE UPDATE

Mt Carmel Health Systems of Columbus, Ohio has reached agreement with United Health. That is good news for the folks in the Columbus Metro area. Mt Carmel is considered to be the most prestigious and largest health provider there.

Last month, Provena Health and United Health reached agreement for uninterrupted coverage through 2006.  Provena Hospitals are located in Joliet, Kankakee, Aurora and Elgin; plus other major facilities located in downstate Illinois.

Still in question are specific hospital groups in the Madison and, of course, the Advocate Group in Illinois.
