Blue Bulletin - Vol. 1, No. 9 Posted
1/3/2007
If you have trouble printing out this bulletin, check your
browser page margin settings. You probably have page margins set too large
which is cutting off the page. Try this to correct the problem.
Open Internet Explorer, on the top line menu go to: "File" then
"Page Setup", Be sure that page margins are set as follows:
"Top, Left, Right to 0.25", "Bottom to 0.5" These margin settings
should work for most inkjet and laser printers.

Explanation for the AASBCR
Medical
and Insurance
Costs
for 2007 Spreadsheet
The 2006 Medical Insurance survey
showed some shocking results. Many of us did not fully participate
because we couldn’t recreate our medical costs for the year. We did
not keep, or could not find ALL our medical records since January.
To alleviate this problem for 2007,
we have created an Excel spreadsheet to record medical costs. It
should be self-explanatory. So we will explain it.
The sample data
presented in this spreadsheet is purely for explanatory purposes.
It is not intended to make sense or to balance to anything in the
real world. It is an example of various costs (with and without
Medicare) that may be incurred in a year. It is by NO means
inclusive!
TO USE THIS SPREADSHEET TO TRACK YOU PERSONAL
MEDICAL EXPENSES YOU MUST
FIRST DOWNLOAD THE SPREADSHEET TO YOUR PC AND EDIT IT LOCALLY ON
YOUR PC!
Once downloaded, to open and use this spreadsheet you will need to have Microsoft
Excel installed on your PC.
TO DOWNLOAD THE
EXCEL SPREADSHEET TO YOUR COMPUTER, CLICK ON THIS LINK, THEN CLICK
ON "SAVE"
Following is an example of the dialog box you
will see when clicking the above link

First, all cells that are shaded are
automatically calculated by the spreadsheet. These calculations go through
the 32nd row.
The top data line/Row is the total
for each column. (Except the Deductible – there it is the starting
point.) They are currently set to accumulate totals to the 32nd row.
