Congressional Candidate Survey
Your
Board, led by Vice President Ray Sternot, has been busy interrogating all
(approximately 200) congressional candidates in the original Ameritech
5-state region concerning their views on issues affecting retirees.
Several members have also queried their candidates. We have been using
the questionnaire created by the NRLN. The results are posted on the
AASBCR web site as we receive them. Check the web site often, as
responses keep coming in.

"We in America do not
have government by the majority. We have government by the majority who
participate.

We have the right to vote. We have the right to not vote. But if
we do not vote, we should forfeit our right to complain!
Healthcare Survey
Your association
needs your help; the initial survey on the ATT 2006 Medical plan
is staggering. We are looking for additional membership responses to
complete our survey. The information needed is vital to our efforts with
ATT on your benefits.
IF YOU HAVE NOT YET PROVIDED ANY
INFORMATION, YOUR BOARD URGES YOU TO COMPLETE THE SURVEY.
